The Democratic Party has always been the party of white supremacy. All the institutions of white supremacy—slavery, lynching, the KKK, segregation, forced sterilization—were all created, promoted, and sustained by Democrats.

And we now know from WikiLeaks that even the Democrats of today talk privately about blacks and Hispanics in a way that you never see Republicans doing.
