The KKK & The Democrats: A Love Story
Dear Friends,
I'm making a list of elected Democrats who backed segregation and the KKK (hundreds of them) and finding those who switched to GOP. Guess what? I can count them on one hand.
In my new film, I will debunk the myth of the "Southern strategy," the sole thin reed upon which Democrats construct their big lie. Hillary's America explodes this switcheroo tale, which is really just a story spun to bury the past of the Democrats.
Here's the truth: the greatest postbellum invention of the Democratic Party was the institution of white supremacy.

Apparently the themes that I'm exploring in this film make a lot of "safe space" students at Birmingham-Southern College very uncomfortable in their worldview. A Change.org petition calling on the school to "condemn" me in advance of my lecture there this week garnered about 200 signatures. I must be one scary guy!
The protestors, who questioned my ability to even graduation from Birmingham-Southern, said I should never have been invited to speak in the first place. So much for the campus being a free exchange of ideas!
Last night at the lecture I was pleased to be welcomed by a crowd of over 1,000 people (on a campus of only 1,300 students). I guess the students are smart enough to make up their own minds and not be bullied by a few of their entitled classmates!

My kudos to the protesters as well—they came to my talk and took me on during the Q&A. I hope they learned something along the way! My favorite part of last night's talk was a line from an earnest protester: "Mr. D'Souza, I have a really short, three-part question."
If you want to explore a lot of the themes that I talked to the Birmingham-Southern students about last night (American exceptionalism, the secret history of the Democrats, and the thuggery of government), just mark in your calendar to buy a ticket to see Hillary's America this summer!
The trailer for Hillary's America, out this July, is now running in over 2,000 theaters nationwide. Have you seen it in your theater yet? If you catch the trailer, make sure you send me a tweet and let me know where you saw it! You can always watch online, too.
Sincerely,

Dinesh D'Souza
P.S. Bernie and Hillary each called the other "unqualified" to be president this week—I think they're both right!
