I spoke at CPAC 2014 in D.C. this past Friday and debuted the new trailer for my upcoming movie, America, due out on Independence Day. Click here to watch now.

In my CPAC speech, I talked a little bit about why America is exceptional and why I decided to make a broad film about the importance of America on the world stage. I suggested that right now, we resolve that liberty is our choice and that we have a duty to preserve it.

I'm an immigrant, and I love America, but I chose America. The philosopher Edmund Burke said, "to love our country, our country should be lovely." So, one of the core themes of this film is: why is America lovely? And why is it that some people are so hostile to the principles that built America?

In this film, we get people to think hard about what America has meant to the world and what will happen if the American era ends.

This week, I was interviewed by Megyn Kelly for The Kelly File on FOX News and by Glenn Beck for The Glenn Beck Program on The Blaze TV. Both of these interviews give great insight into the movie, so don't miss them!
