Dear Friends,
Last week, I told you I had an exciting announcement coming up. And I wasn't kidding – Bill Ayers has agreed to debate me in 2014! I've never met with Ayers on stage before, so this is sure to be a debate filled with the unexpected. The topic is "What's so great about America?" This is something that Ayers and I disagree strongly on.
Ayers is known for his 1960s radical activism. He founded the Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary group that conducted a campaign of bombing the U.S. Capitol Building and the Pentagon during the 1960s and 1970s in response to U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War.
As excited as I am about the debate, I am even more excited to tell you that it will be streamed live online so you can tune in from anywhere in the country! I'm hosting this livestream free of charge for all of my fans. Stay tuned for more information once we finalize the event date for early 2014. This is an incredible opportunity for us to show that we believe in an America that is truly exceptional. I hope you'll support me in the debate by tuning in!
Of course, if liberals have their way, America will become less and less exceptional each day. In fact, the people at A&E (whether or not they know it) are delivering that message to tens of millions of Americans this month: wake up, America! Our religious freedoms are disappearing. With the suspension of Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty, A&E has brought the significance of what "sin" is and what the Bible says about it to the forefront of the nation conversation.
